hi suresh,

can you tell us in detail what you want??

JDBC adapters are used to access an external database and not to access your R3 system.

Do you wnat to connect to an external database?? If yes, which database are you tryin to connect to??

what extactly you mean by external database? ( my R/3 is running on oracle) they are installed on different boxes. R/3 is not a part of central database... but XI is part of central(which is oracle too)

hi suresh,

What I mean by an external database is some independent database.

ASFAIK,If you want to access the tables in your R3, you cannot use your JDBC adapter.

You will have to use an RFC lookup to get the data from your SAP tables in your R3

Bhavesh.
