4.7 vs ECC 6.0 - Added functionalities / New functionalities

We are working on an upgrade project and I'm looking for:

1. What are the main differences between 4.7 & ECC 6.0?

2. New added functionalities in ECC 6.0?

Please help with any documentations or details.

Hi,

As per your query, there is not specific document for this but a lot of difference in new version which is not avalable in older version. This info you can see in the marketplace in phases.

Hi,

In SAP R/3 4.7 it is a previous version and in 6.00 you can

see the updated one.

ECC 6 has new gl ledger concept which is different for 4.7

version in the folloiwng manner.

Added functionality in ECC 6.0:

1. It enables Business area posting - Segment reporting

made easy

2. Profit centre accounting is through new GL

3. Split of entry to post assets and liabilities to

respective profit centres. (Balance sheet items)

4. Enables commitment of FM

and more......

In Ecc6.0 have batch traceability, documentary batch, campaign weighing in process orders.

Thre is a new transaction code transaction COOIS in Ecc 6.0.
