Logon Screen

Hi,

i would like to know how can i change the information showed in the logon screen.

I mean, the information refers our team names and phone numbers in case our users have any issue during login.

is it related to ZLOGIN_SCREEN program or something like that?

Hi , the system did not let me do the change over the program ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO , i had to create another progrma ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 , when i try to see what ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO contians, automatically th esystem shows me ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 ...

this program asked me for a transport when i gave save.

the client is opened, i am not sure if this helps to avoid a transport.

please let me know how can i see the change done in the logon screen, i put my name but i can not see my name when i open the system.

Hi

Go to Transaction SE61 and select the document 'General text' (selection via F4 help), and create a text with the name ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO in the language defined with profile parameter zcsa/system_language. Parameter zcsa/system_language usually have been done in (tcode - rz10 - instance profile - extended maintenance) by the basis administrator during SAP installation.

Was the parameter zcsa/system_language = DE maintained in profile parameter ??

The problem is with changing the programe ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO to ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 i think its not possbile to do so ,i tired doing the same but it din't worked,just check it out why you are not able to create or Edit the programe ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO

Once you activate the program you will able to see the changes into Screen. If you dont want to transport therequest then save as a Local Object

The client is opened,

i am doing

a) Use transaction SE61

b) Select Document Class 'General Text'

c) Enter name 'ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO'

when i clic "change" (se61) the system shows me ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2, WHY????

Why i can not display 'ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO' ?

if i clic "create" (se61) system indicates "Document already exist" .. so, why i can not access to the program 'ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO' ?

please let me know.

You can do onething. Just delete ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 & ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO then create ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO once again and enter the text which you want to show then activate this.

my userid could create that access key, how can i do that?

what tcode do i have to use to create that program?

do i have to use se38 to create the program?

i could delete the program ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 and now i am able to see the program ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO ...

when i change the text and i save, a meesage appears:

"Test objects cannot be created in foreign namespaces"

The development class is being asked, i do not know what is that development class, how can i know that?

SE61- Enter the ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO2 and delete option in there in top menu bar. Same process will be follow for ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO also

Yes Access key is required to modify any object or create any object in SAP.

You can get it from service.sap.com, consult with your Basis Admin.

That is a warning, you can continue with that. If you want to transport the same information you have to store it into a Devlopment Class otherwise save is as a local object. But i suggest to consult with an Abaper.

ok, i am seeing that the window "Create Object Directory Entry" is asking:

Object: R3TR DOCT CAMBIOS 10 ABRIL 2009 (This is contained)

Language: i can not enter "DE" in the system... could be this the problem?

when i choose "LOCAL OBJECT" the same error is appeared ....

5.Create

6.Enter the text whatever you want

7. Click on Save a dialog box will be appear

8. package would be $TMP for local object

9 Leave all other field then SAVE it

10. Then just activate the screen info

thanks a lot for your great support !!!!

i could see those errors and messages were appered due the program has configured some lines speacial as part of code instead of strings, i mean, only a message, i was trying only to delete those lines that is the reason why the program was asking for that information ... but finally i decided to delete all and only add the lines i need be showed in the system , i activated the object and save changes and it worked !!!!!

before doing above told, i open the client to work directly on the object .... it was not necessary to move a transport .. nothing of that ....
