planning version

hi guys,

new to apo. actually after cif connection, for the first time i transferred a material to APO. in the product master it is identifying the material but to change or display it is asking for the planning versions. pls tell me as to how i create the planning version. i am not able to go ahead without this. pls guide.

All the planning related data has to be assigned to APO model '000' and active planning version '000'. You can create additional version in addition to 000 through transaction /sapapo/mvm. By default all data coming from R/3 is assigned to model/version 000/000. Before starting to CIF the data you have to create this model active version.

To a model you assign master data such as location, product, resources etc..
