Hello,
We are in a process of upgrading Java NW2004(WebAS640) to NW70 SPS18.
This landscape consists of ND1 - NQ1 and NP1 systems.
ND1 is now at the new version, which is NW70 while NQ1 and NP1 are
still at version NW2004.
Now we would like to "upgrade" the associated development track in our
JDI system. We thought the best way to do it was to create a new
development track. So we did create a new SC "Software Component" in
the SLD and assigned the new 7.00 dependencies (SAPJEE, SAPBUILDT &
SAPJTECHS).
Then in the JDI, we created the new track and added the new SC. The
track is well defined and has SAP dependencies 7.00 version linked to
it.
Now we want to migrate our own DC from the original NW2004 track to the
new NW70 track, but we cannot create the new DC because the name is
already in use...
What would be the best approach for upgrading a development track? Are
we doing it the proper way?
Thanks,
Stephan.
Stephane,
in your old track check whether you have export to SCA option is there in Assembly tab.
if yes use that option and export the sca.Place that SCA in Jtrans folder so that it will come to check in tab
Thanks
