How can I limite the creation of MRP element Pldord under 8000 LBS

Hi all,

I do not want the mrp to create a pldord when the pldord qty to be created is under 8000LBS.

Is there a way to do this in MM02 - in view MRP1,2,3 or 4 ?

Regards!

Hi,

You can't achieve this in SAP as per my best knowledge, since the system won't allow material shortage during (automatic) planning. There are several lot sizing procedures but I think none of them covers your requirement.

What Priyanka P. suggested makes no sense because using external procurement key won't solve this at all - you will get procurement proposal: either PldOrd or PurReq (or something else) based on your selection parameters for MRP run.

hi,

If you don't want Planned order to be created, then use the procurement type indicator only for External in the MRP 2 view of MMR ie material master record MM01/02/03...

Via this system will not generated the planned order any time...

and material will not be procured internally...

You can't limit for qty....
