Hi
For Usage decision... do in TCODE : QA11
Check out this scenario [Caliberation order|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/fe/67ec5c9d6f11d189b60000e829fbbd/frameset.htm]
It will be very helpful
I dont think u can create order from task list
You can do my creating a Maintenance plan, assign a task, schedule it... order will be created at respective intervals...

For PM & QM Integration
1.Need To Maintain Inspection Point 14 in Order type of PM05
2.In Task List header Data check u have assigned Inspection Point i,e,, 300 or what QM Have defined.
3.IN operation of tasklist Check Control Key QM01 in Operation.
4.In Operation Line of QM01 , In last row check Sampling Option is defined or Not
5.Tigger the Plan

SP,
Check in the task list, in the filed Inspection point 300 is assigned other wise, an inspection lot cannot be generated.
Also check for the operatios is ther any MIC assigned? Also check is there any Sampling procedure assinged to the MIC.
Ans why you want to create an order through task list, ofcourse its not possible as task list is master data and order is the transaction.

Praveen.
