DataSource activation Issue in ECC

Dear Experts,

I have BI7 brand new system installed, Now Iam trying to activate the DS in ECC and replicating into BI.

In our ECC(R/3) we have 3 clients are created respectlvely.

CLNT100 for Configurations

CLNT110 for ABAP/BI developements

CLNT120 Unit Testing Client.( which is connected with BI7)

In the above scenario I have activated the DS 2LIS_13_VDITM in CLNT110 and assinged to CTS also.

Mean Installed from RSA5, and activated in LBWE.

When I replicated to BI DS is replicated from CLNT120.

but when Iam tring to fill the setup tables in OLI8BW Iam getting error " No extraction structure active or no BW connected".

And more over CLNT120 is not opened because it's testing client.

APC,

Need to import changes to CLNT120 through transport request.

Steps:

Log on to CLNT120.

goto: Tcode: SCC1, choose source client and transport request.

Start immediately.

Yes I haven't created Transformations,

Imporitng the CTS in to CLNT120 is mandatory for all the activities what will be done in CLNT110?

I hope once we save under CTS in 110 that will be copied automatically to all clients, as ABAP devlopments.

Logon to clnt120 and check datasource active or not..?? at LBWE.

It's not in active mode in CLNT120.

CLNT120 is not Open, I don't have authirization to activate manually, I tried this option.

But to import the CTS I can ask Basis to do it.

Here I would like to know one thing, all ABAP developments will be copied to all clients automatically.

Why BW objects are not working in the same way.

Hey I got the solution.

Since it's Customizing request(CTS TYPE) we have to import into all clients manually.

But in case of ABAP dev that is Workbench Request that's why we don't need to import it.

Is the Issue Still Open If yes then.........

Activate the Datasource in LBWE in UR Golden Master Client i.e Config Client of ECC.

Import the same using transaction SCC1 in ur Testing Client.

Else Close the Issue...........With Final solution.

Hi,

If i am not wrong then you haven't create transformation. Just go for creating that.
