linking of 1mat to multiple

Expertiseee,

we are having very different scenario from the Standard

my client is a trading organisation and he is having a huge list of Materials and He is maintaining For _each Material almost 30 eqvialent parts and all are inventory managed_

we tried with HERS, and FFFC class but we are unable to get any soln and every three months some of

the materils will get new codes

obsolate number

previous number

superseed number & he will do all sales trans with obsolate number

all are his req

is there any way to cater these req with standard R/3

plz do the needful

I suppose your customer is involved in the electronics business. since you have already used the HERS material type and it is not sufficient to satisfy your requirement, there is nothing else is available in SAP for this kind of business process.

Does your requirement have only one to many relationship by which I mean One Inventory material linked to many HERS materials (MPNs). If this is the case then the business process can be mapped, but Many to One and Many to Many relationships are not supported by SAP.

here the _requirement is one to many and many to many_

and all are inventorised materials.

to make the linking of all materials we are struggling in SAP

and every 3months all the materials are going to get new names and old numbers are going to be

obsolate,(these have to be used while sales).
