Check if the profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstart" is active. You need to set the profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstart = 0 " to be able to login as SAP* with password PASS.

Hi Approva,

first execute RZ10 and select the instance profile in "exteneded maintaince" mode. then edit and add this parameter

"login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" and set the value to "0" to activate this.

then execute the following query @ SQL prompt.

"delete from <HOSTNAME>.<SID>.<object_owner>.USR02 where BNAME='SAP' and MANDT='client number';" and after try loging with password "pass" remember its case sensitive.Sap is a kind of user who can dinamically be created.Sure try this it worked in many times....

Hi folks,

The answer to the original question is that login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 1 by default on ECC 6.0. This needs to be changed to 0 and the system restarted to allow you to log on to your new client with SAP*/pass.

Hi,

Im installing ECC 6.0 in our landscape.

Can you pls help me in the way of installation?

While installation is going, in phase "<b>IMPORT ABAP</b>" it continuously showing a error " Import of package "pack.name" failed".

That is in this stage totally 43 import jobs has to run. But only 25 jobs completing successfully and after that 9 import jobs failing continuously.

I've installed JDK 1.4.2_08 and tried once, but the same result occurs at same point only.

Could you please help me? Its really urgent

Thanks a ton in advance.

Hi,

Our company was using R/3 SAP 4.6C and were planning to upgarde it to SAP ECC 6.0. Do have any documents for Installation of ECC 6.0 or Guide on how to install SAP ECC 6.0.

If you don't mind, can you provide me a copy for preparation in our upgrade.

Thanks in advance
