CMC Login Problem!

Hi All,

I am displaying reports from java.

Reports Design in Crystal Reports XI and Uploaded in RAS-> CMC.

I am logging in from java using Adminstrator as user ID. It is working fine.

I have created a user and provided advance control to that user. Also i Can able to log in CMC with that user Name.

But if i logging in from apllication as any other user means it is saying "Unknown user".

Do i need to restart the server?

Note: Server is in client location.

Can anyone help?

So what authentication type are you using with the user?

Hi Ted,

I am using Enterprise.

That problem was solved.Thank you.

But now, for new user I gave advaced rights, but still it is saying "you dont have access to refresh the report" Contact your administrator.

How to solve this. How to give all the rights.

Hi,

Please check the authentication type of the user as well as the group to which the user belongs along with the rights to the user and refresh or update it.

You need to give report refresh rights. I would ask over on the BusinessObjects -> BusinessObjects Enterprise Admin forum.
