MTO with Handling Unit

Hi Friends,

I want to know the effect of MTO scenario with Handling Unit.

i.e.

My client is using Make-to-Stock with Handling Unit,

If he uses MTO scenario,do it have any impact on Handling Unit.

Do we face any problems in handling unit or in customization.

Azeez,

MTO or MTS is strategy used to make sure availability of materials to the customer on the requested date.

Handling units is used for using packaging twice for a material. This is used for delivery purpose definitely it will not affect your process. After Availabilty of materials you are going to carry out this process.This configuration is totally different it will not affect MTO or MTS process.

Hi Friend,

there will not be any effect on HAndling Units in either of the cases-whether you have MTO or MTS scenario.

I dont think ther shoud be any problem, u can use handling units with MTO also
