ECC 6.0 UPGRADE

Hi ,

I want to upgrade from our R/3 server to ECC 6.0 with AFS . In our Media kit for upgrade , i found two upgrade master DVD s as following .

1. SAP Netweaver 7.0 SR3 Upgrade Master

2. SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 Upgrade Master

Kindly advice me which one i should use for upgrade .

Hi Ashok ,

Thanks , iam update the Addon ST-PI,2005_1_620 using SAINT successfully , But iam not able to find the service levels SAPKITLQG8 from market place . Kindly advice me to download these files .

Hi PalaniSelvan,

This support package released on 01.02.2008 but i am also not able to find it.

Please check with SAP.

Hi Chaitanya ,

Thanks for your answer , I have another doubt . I started the ECC 6.0 upgrade from the installation Master . In the end of one phase i got the error and info message here below i mentioned .

ERROR: To be able to use ASU Toolbox, your system requires

the ST-PI software component with at least Support Package Level 8

After the update is done, the module must be repeated!

INFO: The upgrade strategy for the addon ST-A/PI

I checked my system in SPAM , here below i mentioned the details for ST-PI in my server.

Software Component Name ST-PI

Software Component Release 003C_620

Support Package Level 0002

Highest Imported Support Package SAPKITLPR2

Short Description of Software Component SAP Solution Tools Plug-In

Support Package type Add-on Support Pkg.

Kindly what is the solution for the above problem , Where can i download the patch .

Hi PalaniSelvan,

You have to apply the required patch for the add on.

Support Packages and Patches->Plug-Ins->SAP Solution Tools->ST-PI

You need below package.

First you have to upgrade your add-on to ST-PI,2005_1_620 (saint)then apply the support package upto 8(spam)

ST-PI,2005_1_620:SAPKITLQG8, 8

After that repeat the upgrade prepare module.

Use the DVD with CD label as

'SAP ERP 6.0 SR3Upgrade Master Number 51033520'

for our upgrade.
