WM Bin with Batch NEW.

I have a Bin #5-1-50-2 with stock in the batch = NEW. Somehow the user entered the batch with NEW and period at the end of NEW. Does anyone know how to remove the period from the batch NEW?

Hi;

I think this is not an issue with the Bin per se. Here as I understand it the batch is wrong and we need to change that.

I would suggest we use the movement type 309 and make the changes to the batch. I hope this would solve your issue.

As Mani said issue is not related to WM. Regarding batch date you can chenge it in msc2n.

Could you please explain what's your exact requirement using proper SAP terminology?

If you want to change batch master data you can use MSC2N. If you are speaking data stored in quant, you can use the mentioned MB1B + 309 but I prefer MB1B + 311 with same SLoc (as receiving and issuing SLoc).

Please clarify your problem.
