set valid Date for a KB in IPC

Hi,

I am trying to set validDate for the selected KB.( I am using IPC 4.0). Is it possible to set the validdate for a selected KB using the user exit "ProductEngineUserExit.java"?. I am not able to get the handle to influence the date.

The requirement is to influence the Sales Document date of a configuration so that we get the KB version and pricing that is effective as on that date.

Currently it is taking system date as a default valid date.

Any help would be useful to proceed.

Hi Duraiswamy,

normally, IPC takes the order date for pricing and for configuration, and not the current system date. If it doesn't, please install the latest IPC patch for your IPC (but we fixed that long (years) ago).

Or do you want to set a special date different than the order date? And different pricing date and KB date? Which scenario are you using?
