Sneak Preview SP16 installation error - MUT-02041

I'm trying to install the Sneak preview SP16 on Windows 2003 server / jdk 1.4.2_09

On Phase 11 (redeploy filesystem), the install halt with the follozing error:

ERROR 2006-04-04 10:17:42

MUT-02041 SDM call of deploy ends with returncode 4

Any idea?

Hi,

You can check the logs in the directory ..\Program Files\

sapinst_dir\.... for the various sdm logs so as to get a

better idea of the error.

Here is what seems to be the error:

I did check in the aformentionned file and i've been able to extract the SAP_MANIFEST.MF from the command line using jar.

More hints?

On the third retry on that 11 step, it worked!

I've no idea why

maybe the manual text extraction changed something around file permissions...

Hey, there are lot of diference between jdk and j2sdk. why cant you try with j2sdk and restart your installation. but i am not sure about the solution.
