This is to do with .NET honest..
I've a web application (built in VS 2008) using Crystal Reports 2008.
Will the Developer Advantage Licence allow me to distribute my web app (and the CR 2008 run time) to servers running on client sites in a licenced manner - if not, will buying a copy of CR 2008 for each site suffice?
TIA

With Developer Advantage you should be able to deploy them without purchasing additional licenses per customer with web applications. You can always call Sales and ask them since they deal with licensing.

I think part of my problem was getting confused between CR 2008 and Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008.
We're currently using the latter to display reports locally, but using CR 2008 to create the reports. Since the two are different versions, there's functionality in the reports created using CR 2008 that doesn't work in CR for VS2008.
I think moving to CR 2008 should resolve this, which means one licence for each developer, and then the Developer Advantage licence to cover deployment to multiple clients.
Phone Business Objects (as per the advice n the first response) and had a chat with them.
