SAP GRC 5.3 ERM | PFCG Not Opening Automatically | Role Creator UserID

When allowing end-users to maintain authorization values using PFCG in the back-end (setting in miscellaneous), the SAP documentation says the logon for the SAP GUI opens automatically. For us, this however is not the case. We can however maintain the values by using PFCG.

Another related thing is that the role creater ID is set to our service back-end user and not the actual end-user ID.

Anyone any idea on how to solve it?

Hi there,

this can be related to your Internet Explorer settings as already mentioned. Another thing I would recommend is to check SAP Note "Note 1290039 - GRC Role Expert is creating ABAP Dump in Target System".

This solved the issue in our case.
