Dear Experts,

I have the situation like this. The system should create a Purchase Order (PO) automatically whenever the article's (some specified articles ) stock is reached the minimum quantity or MBQ(minimum base quantity).

For Ex.,

Article XX , stock is maintained as 1000 EA. The re-order level or MBQ is 200 EA.

Whenever the stocks reaches the 200EA (MBQ level), the system automatically should generate the PO.

Kindly provide your valuable ideas and configuration setting etc.,

I really appriciate if any one helps.

In article master, under RP parameters, mainain value in Reorder Point. If the stock falls below this quantity, the system flags the material for requirements planning by creating a planning file entry.

Do not forget to maintain necessary fields e.g. RP Type, Indicator Auto.PO, etc.
