SAP Printing Problems

Hello Experts,

We are facing strange problems in SAP printing. SAP printing through SAPLPD doesn't work sometimes and sometimes it works. There is no error message, output request will be shown for sometime in SP01 and then disappears, but print doesn't comes up.

Can you please guide how we can figure out the cause of this problem.

when you print,have you enabled immediate output and also whats the access method you are using

Yes, users are configured with option "Output Immediately" as well as "Delete After Output".

Our SAP systems are running on Solaris/Oracle and Access method is U: Print Using Berkley Protocol.

Please advice.

why dont you trying access method F,it will work

Hello Rohit,

For Remote printing in Unix using Access Method U, do we need to maintain the printers/print server entries at operating system level also?

We are able to reach to print server at network level and front end printing works fine. Only in case of remote printing, print doesnt comes out - and the output request status is completed succesfully.
