Characteristic in Order Header

Hello,

We are using Characteristic in Order Header (013 - SAP_KKR_CLASS) for order classification; most of the char. values are entered manually, however we want that some characteristics can derive their values from another class, tipically Material Class (001).

Do you know if there is some standard way in SAP of getting that values automatically...I tried with hierarchies, reference chars, etc. but I could not find the solution.

do you have any ideas or clues about this issue ?

Hi Dario,

try to look at OSS note 88660, maybe you can find something usefull there for your scenario.

Thank you Luis, it is a very interesting solution...although it seems that the characteristics cannot be edited by the user once it is copied from the material class

001 - Material Class

Characteristic for material A:

Concentration: 1.33 g/l

Drawing #: 12345

Production Note: Prepare in Mill #3

013 - Controllling

Characteristic for Order 10000000 (header material: A)

Drawing #: 12345 (changeable by the user, e.g. 12345 Version 2)

Production Note: Prepare in Mill #3 , previous cleaning with acetone

We would like that Drawing and Production note inherite their values for material class and can be modifiable by the user....
