Problem with HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

hi,

I am trying to insert records into infotype 0065(only P46 ID and Date)....so i used the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION..

It is not updating for some pernr values and giving this error

"Change in the payroll past not possible"

I checked the begin date for those personnel number also ..it is fine and is before the P46 Date only..

Can anyone suggest the possible cause of error.

Hi,

May the problem is because of the already completed payroll run. Check the payroll results for the pernr to know upto when the payroll is executed for the employee.

I also tried to manually enter the P46 date from Pa30...

It is letting me change that there....then how come the error areises when we do it using the FM

Hi,

Find out the Payroll Area of the personnel.

Then goto PA03 and check whether payroll control record is released for payroll??

If it is, make it released for correction.
