Hi Experts.
Using the information given in [this|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/9985] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]; webblog I added custom fields to a support message.
Is there any guide how to make those fields available in Work Center Incident Management (webdynpro)?
I have been able to customize the gui to get a new tab strip and a custom field but I am not sure which function to use to read/write information to that field (technically) after value has been added. I wonder if there is something pre-definded (standard, based on the floor plan manager) I could use?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Hi Christian ,
in my company we did add a field to SDMJ (which is using the same technique for message I presume)
I gave the tip how to fix this in the following thread
I did verify and the added field is visible in the webdynpro and sapgui.
I am not a programmer but I guess what I give is enough for a programmer to tackle this
feel free to ask
br Xavier
