Hi,

PO quantity 20 unit x $1

1) during GR, i receive 22 unit (when quantity within tolerance limit)

. will the 2 unit go to price difference or just Dr inventory Cr grc?

2) when quantity received over tolerance limit. during GR, i received 40 unit. will the 20 unit go to price difference or system will not allow when over tolerance. system will insist to add more quantity in PO right?

3) quantity GR 22 unit during MIGO as per point 1. During MIRO wrt PO, the quantity automatically shows in MIRO is 22 or 20? Or automatically shows 20 as per PO then we need to manually change to 22?

4) if MIRO automatically shows 22 unit, then there will not have price difference, correct?

5) if MIRO wft PO automatically shows 20 unit, we need to change to 22. In this case, will it be got posted to price difference?

Hi,

1. It will go the inventory account.

2. System will not allow you to cross overdelivery tolerance

3. It will show as per GR

4. There wont be any price difference

I reopen this post as I got a different answer.

May I know if the first 2 post are correct or the 3rd's.

My question can be item based on map or standard price.

Please advise.

You mixed and asked many things in the post.

First thing if there is a difference in the PO price and Material master price it will go into some account.

If the price control is Standard it will go to Price difference account and if it is MAP it will go to Stock account.

Hi

Incase of materials with standard price control, price difference in PO (with resepct to material price/ info record) , in MIRO always goes to PRD account, where as for MAP it wil be inventorized if stock is there, otherwise PRD account will be hit.

MIRO always looks for GR quantity in case of GR based IV. If it is PO based (no GR based IV tick in PO), then GR quantity is not valid.

my question is assuming no change of unit price but just quantity.

Hi ,

If in material master price control is Standard then it will be go to price difference account when there is a difference in po and gr qty till stock coverage is there.

Other part is underdelivery and overdelivery tolerance for the PO is controlled by purchasing value key mentioned in the material master purchasing view so the difference in qty is accomodated according to the values maitained for that Purchasing value key in customizing.

When you refer PO in MIRO only PO qty will be taken into consideration and not the MIGO qty mentioned in the delivery note.

It will be inventoried.

You cannot post GR beyond tolerance limit.

Quantity shown in MIRO will be total GR quantity if it is GR based IV.

No price difference unless there is some price change.

MIRO always shows total GR quantity if GR based IV is ticked in PO.
