regarding variables used in so10

Hi all,

I have small query ... i have one Ztext in so10 and in that text few variables are used like itab-stras and many more ..... i need to know where these variables are defined.... are they defined in print programs of script and smartforms or anywhere else ??

These variabkleswill assumen values during runtime when called in the Form.

No, you dont have to declare them anywhere.

Just insert your variable between '&' in SO10.

thnx again amit .... suppose i put one variable say &itab-vorna& in so10 and i m linking this text to sap script then this internal table should be define there and some query must be there to insert data in the internal table...right ?? so i have to take variables in so10 as per they are defined in script or smartforms...otherwise if i define random variables and they are not present in the script or smartform then values won't reflect.
