Hi Friends

what is the significance of object DNL_CUST_PROD0 & Why we maintain 3 tables in backend systems and only 1 table in EBP system when performing middleware.

Hi,

Business objects used to replicate materila master and materirl groups

DNL_CUST_PROD0 - material number conversions

DNL_CUST_PROD1 - product categories

CRMRFCPAR for definitions of RFC Connections

CRMPAROLTP table for CRM OLTP Parameters

CRMSUBTAB for subscription table for Up and Download Object

Hi Prasad

Why do we use site type as CRM instead of SRM when defining sites SMOEAC

SAP Note 720819 - Middleware consumer entry for SRM in OLTP system Note Language: English Version: 8 Validity: Valid Since 20.10.2008

Summary

Symptom

For an SRM system, you set the middleware parameters in the OLTP system. If

a "CRM" consumer entry for a CRM system has already been entered in the

table CRMCONSUM in the OLTP system, the system ignores an additional

consumer entry ("SRM", for example). The additional required settings are

described in this note.

If you correctly implement these settings, another consumer ("SRM", for

example) can exist in addition to the "CRM" consumer. You can then

determine the RFC destination entry in the table CRMRFCPAR for the "SRM"

consumer, instead of for the "CRM" consumer.

More Terms

Buyer, e-procurement, e-commerce, Middleware, replication, consumer,

CRMCONSUM, CRMSUBTAB, CRMPAROLTP, SMOFINICON, OLTP, online transaction

processing system, CRM, Customer Relationship Management, plug-in,

SMOFPARSFA, CRMRFCPAR

Cause and Prerequisites

You have imported at least Support Package SAPKIBKS01 in the SRM system.

You have imported at least plug-in 2000.2 in the OLTP system. A "CRM"

consumer entry for a CRM system has already been entered in the OLTP

system.

Solution

o Make the following entries for your new consumer in the table

CRMCONSUM in the OLTP system:

- CONSUMER = SRM (for example)

- AKTIV = X

- TEXT = SRM Consumer (for example)

(You can also choose another consumer name instead of "SRM". You

can ignore the warning message "Choose the key from the allowed

namespace" by choosing ENTER).

Save the entries.

o Copy the following entries into the table CRMSUBTAB in the OLTP

system:

- CONSUMER = CRM, OBJCLASS = MATERIAL

- CONSUMER = CRM, OBJCLASS = CUSTOMIZING

- CONSUMER = CRM, OBJCLASS = SERVICE_MASTER

SAP Note 720819 - Middleware consumer entry for SRM in

OLTP system

When you copy an entry, only change the CONSUMER entry that refers

to the consumer name that you created ("SRM", for example).

Save your copies.

o Make the following entries for initial downloads in the table

CRMRFCPAR in the OLTP system:

- Consumer application = SRM (for example)

- Object name = *

- Destination = <SM59 RFC destination of SRM system>

- Download type = Initial Download (= I)

- Queue name = ''

- InQueue name = ''

- BAPI name = ''

- Short description = DEFAULT DESTINATION FOR SRM

- Data record inactive = ''

- Ignore Data = ''

- InQueue indicator = X

- Use XML = X

- Stop data = ''

Save the entries.

o Make the following entries for the delta download of the material

master in the table CRMRFCPAR in the OLTP system:

- Consumer application= SRM (for example)

- Object name = MATERIAL

- Destination = <SM59 RFC destination of SRM system>

- Download type = Delta Download (= D)

- Queue name = ''

- InQueue name = ''

- BAPI name = ''

- Short description = DEFAULT DESTINATION FOR SRM

- Data record inactive = ''

OLTP system

- Ignore Data = ''

- InQueue indicator = X

- Use XML = X

- Stop data = ''

Save the entries.

o Make the following entries for the delta download of the service

master in the table CRMRFCPAR in the OLTP system:

- - Consumer application = EBP (for example)

- - Object name = SERVICE_MASTER

- - Destination = <SM59 RFC destination of EBP system>

- - Download type = Delta Download (= D)

- - Queue name = ''

- - InQueue name = ''

- - BAPI name = ''

- - Short description = DEFAULT DESTINATION FOR EBP

- - Data record inactive = ''

- - Ignore data = ''

- - InQueue indicator = X

- - Use XML = X

- - Stop data = ''

Save the entries.

o If you want to perform a request, make the following entries in the

table CRMRFCPAR in the OLTP system:

- Consumer application= SRM (for example)

- Object name = *

- Destination = <SM59 RFC destination of SRM system>

- Download type = Request (= R)

- Queue name = ''

- InQueue name = ''

- BAPI name = ''

OLTP system

- Short description = DEFAULT DESTINATION FOR SRM

- Data record inactive = ''

- Ignore Data = ''

- InQueue indicator = X

- Use XML = X

- Stop data = ''

Save the entries.

o If the following entries do not yet exist for the user you use (for

example, SRM), add them for the delta download MATERIAL in the

table CRMPAROLTP in the OLTP system:

- Parameter name = CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE

- Parameter name 2 = MATERIAL

- Parametername 3 = ''

- User = SRM (for example)

- Parametervalue = X

- Parametervalue 2 = ''

Save the entries.

o If the following entries do not yet exist for the user you use (for

example, SRM), add them for the delta download SERVICE_MASTER in

the table CRMPAROLTP in the OLTP system:

- Parameter name = CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE

- Parametername 2 = SERVICE_MASTER

- Parametername 3 = ''

- User = SRM (for example)

- Parametervalue = X

- Parametervalue 2 = ''

Save the entries.

o Use transaction SM30 to add the following entries in the table

SMOFPARSFA in your SRM system (see Note 632223):

- Key MCRM

- Parameter name MCRM_CONSUMER

09.04.2009 Page 5 of 5

SAP Note 720819 - Middleware consumer entry for SRM in

OLTP system

- Parameter name 2

- Parameter name 3

- User SRM (for example)

- Parameter value SRM (for example)

- Parameter value 2

Save the entries.

Before you perform the download, use transaction SE38 to execute the report

BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW in the EBP system. Select "EBP Without CRM" and

enter the consumer name you have chosen ("EBP", for example) in the "User"

field.
