I am seeing a strange problem in PCUI 5.0 channel partner management application. On the general info tab I removed the classification screengroup and added a custom one for my field. I did generate the layout for the fieldgrp but my field doesn't show up. It still shows the classification.
Could this be a portal Cache problem?

I am not sure about delete Layout.
But check this.
In the Application View in the fieldgroup are you able to see the added fields.
For example For Leads.
CRMD_BUS2000108 -> Version 1 -> Static Model -> Search Area - Field Groups -> LEA_SRCH_MANAGER, when you double click on the field group you should be able to see the custom fields added
