Reserve qty for a particular customer for further use

Hi,

We have a requirement where we would like to reserve stocks for a particular customer and then use those stocks for later use.

We are not sure if we can use sales order stock ( no PO and valuation is required ) or material reservation. We could create a Scheduling agreement / sales order and have ATP block stock, but that is a unrestricted stock.

Would appreciate inputs from the forum on possible approaches

Hi

You can try with MB1A movement type 292 W

But before using the stocks for practical purposes you need to reverse it with MB1A movement type 291 W and bring it bact to unrestricted

Or

Manual reservations can be done with T code MB21 movement types 231 or 251
