Load data into SNP Planning Book

Hello,

we have DP and SNP implemented and to load data to DP Planning Area we use tcode /SAPAPO/TSCUBE (load data to PA from an infocube).

To load data ex: sales orders from R3 to SNP what should we do?

We have different key figures in SNP PA. We have keyfigure 9ADMDP1 (Sales Orders) with category BW and category group D11 assign in planning area.

Do sales orders go directly via CIF to SNP PA? ou must we use any tcode or job to upload data? Is it enough to have Integration models of transactional data active in R/3?

Hi Teresa,

Data can be loaded into DP from a infocube. I believe you are already doing that. For SNP you can either load the data from R/3 to BW and then load from cube to DP to SNP ( /sapapo/mc90) or directly from cube to SNP (/SAPAPO/REL_TO_SNP).

You can also send sales orders from R/3 to SNP directly with just the integration models. You do not need anything else just for the sales orders to come in. If you need consumption of sales orders then you need to have strategy 40 in R/3 MRP1 tab.

As Visu mentioned, Sales orders can be loaded either directly from R/3 thru CIF or to DP then to SNP. However, it is recommended to send them thru CIF since the transactional data is a real time transfer. Yes you need to have Integration models in ECC for CIF, however you need to maintain Publication settings in APO for planning results to publish them back to ECC.
