Set Variables?

Hi pals,

can anyone explain what is set variable in bps and why do we use it? i have a slight idea but many of us wud be clear if anyone can give a clear idea on set variables.Thank you.

Hi Saggi,

1. when set variable you assign a characteristic's value to it.

2. you use variable to make dynamic application.

Hi,

Once the variable is created, set variable is used to initialize them. when you'll run the query first time..it will throw you an error if the variable is not set or intialized by pressing "set Variables"

Hi,

On the BPS side for dynamic execution and planning we create variables and set variables is the way we can set a particular value for the varaibles.
