Plant calender to allow PGI on Saturday and receiving/shipping Mon - Friday

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how it is possible to set up a plant calender where the plant has the ability to PGI (vl02n) an outbound delivery AND be able to perform normal receiving and shipping from Monday to Friday?

Please provide details of the plant set up to configure and test this requirment.

How can I set up a plant calender to do the following:

Ability to receive and ship on Monday to Saturday BUT

- No MRP planning on Saturday or Sunday

- Expected delivery date on POs cannot be Saturday or Sunday

hi,

as you know delivery is created wrt shipping point, so this can be controlled at shipping point level.

Factory calendars is assigned to shipping point, when shipping point is defined.

Factory calendar will have list of working days for the year.

OVR3 is the T-code to create new Factory calendar

I'm not following your response. Can you please elaborate?

A can assign a shipping point to PGI on Saturdays? That would not work as any shipping point could be used... we have over 40 shipping points per plant...

Please elaborate.

What Bhaskar has said is right.

Go to OVR3, select "Factory calender" and click on "Change" icon. Select delivering plant's country and press F7. Now you can see weekdays with a box to select.

As per your requirement, you need to tick the first five days and save.

Next go to OVLZ, select your shipping point and assign the required value against the field "Factory calender" and save.
