Smartform : Printing Problem , Urgent Please

Dear All,

When I tried to print a smartform, I am Getting message 'Spool Request (number xxxxxx ) is created' .

but It is not printing.

I am facing this problem only with this form. I could print other forms / Scripts.

What might be the error ? Please Let me Know ..

In Output Options under Form Attributes for you Smartform, check the <i>Output Format, Output Mode and Output Device.</i>

Venkat,

May be you have not set the PRINT IMMEDIATELY option, because of this it creates the spool and waits.

Try to switch on this option and let us know.

Thank you very much for your inputs.

My problem is partially resolved. I went to SP01 and given the Spool Number. Then it could print.

But How can I set to print directly. I tried in Nace -> Output types.

Please suggest me further. Anyway You will be rewarded for your efforts.

Venkat,

You can do that in two ways. Once is to set it in the USER DEFAULTS. Go to SU01 and you can see a tab for DEFAULTS.. There will be a check box for PRINT IMMEDIATELY.

Or you can do that in the SMART Form parameters also. In the OUTPUT_OPTIONS parameters ther is a field TDIMMED. Set that to 'X'. That should print the form immediately.

Note down the Spool number and check the status in SP01 or make sure that you are sending to your local printer.
