Using X509 Certificates instead of SAP Logon Tickets

Hi,

I am looking for information on how to integrate a SAP System with the Portal but rather than using the SAP Logon Ticket I want to use X509 certificates instead.

There doesnt appear to be much on the subject, but I was wondering if this is as simple as setting up the client to SAP Server X509 link and then the Portal will use the client certificate or does the Portal to the SAP WAS have to be confiured separately ?

Kind regards

Richard
