field to store the longitude and latitude coordinates?

Does anyone know which field we can use to store the longitude and latitude coordinates in SAP?

It would be nice if we could store the coordinates in the address of the customers and shipping-points.

We do not have the TM module or SCM yet.

The reason is to use those fields to calculate the distance between the departure

and destination of a shipment stage.

You can try the field "Unloading Point" in the customer master.

If you are using Transportation it could be better to use distances in each route on transaction 0VTC that would allow you to obtain reports of distances on a standar way.

I dont know if theres any field to coordinates, but think about postal code to determine it or, additional fields in customer master.
