Hi,

Consider we have a material SFG or FG.

For that material QI stock in MMBE is Zero.

We have a scenario that we have to transfer the quantity from QI to Unrestricted.

How can we raise the QI stock?

When we tried to to with MB1B / MB1C, the error message appears as "It is possible only through QM transactions".

Can anyone help on this, please.

Hi,

From your query it looks like you are trying out in some test / development server. If so you can follow the below steps to bring the stock in QI stock.

1. Using the Tcode ; MB1C wioth movt tyoe 501/561 you can bring the stock for a material in unrestricted.

2. Now check the stock in MMBE, system will show the stock in Unrestricted stock for that material / Plant / storage location.

3. Now use the Tcode : MB1b and Transfer the unrestricted stock to QI stock using the movt : 322 and post.

4. Now you can see the stock in QI.

Hi Sankar,

As you are telling that QI stock is zero.

So you have to get some stock to Quality Insp from where you want to transfer this stock to Unrestricted.

If you do this MB1C.. stcok will be moving to unrestrcted. so If your Material is QM activated, if its external purchage or internal procurement, raise the requirement like Purchage requisition or Production order depends upon the type of procurement you have for that material and do the MIGO . By this stock will be moving to QI stock . After inspection is done , then it can be moved to unrestricted stock.

What are quality Insp setup you have set for the material? check for that in your material master? If you nedd only stock boosting for test scenario, then use MB1C/501 or 561 before that ensure that material settings are there in MM.

false stock boosting might have been blocked in quality Module, that is why you are unable to do this.

if you fail in the above case then, find out the current stock quantity of the material in un_res, make a goods issue of the quanityt to a cost center and make the stock ZERO.

Then remove the Inspection set_up and other details in quality view of thematerial master. Now use any of the above process to boost the stock in quality directly(stock type-2). Once stock inside then change the set_up again to old case and bring back the stock issed by 201 using 202.

Hi,

QM view is set for that material like Inspection type is activated withInspection type -08 (Stock transfer inspection), Post to inspection stock is selected.

Actual scenario is Transfer posting from QI Inspection stock to Unrestricted - 321 (MB1B).

But eventhough the same material has stock in QI in other plant, we are unable to post it from QI to Unrestricted.

If we try to post with Mvt type - 321, facing below errors:

1.Deficit of BA Stck.in qual.insp 10.000 CS - But stock is available.

2.Change the inspection stock of material xxxxx in QM only.

Help me on this.

after doing above setting when u do transfer posting an lot is genrated in the system then go to T-code QA32 and enter ur material and plant u can see that lot here u can post ur material to unrestricted stock by giving UD

After activation inspection type 08 in material master when u do the transfer posting the material first go to quality and the quality person move it to unrestricted stock so ur material is in QI but bot allowing u for unrestricted and giving an error

so go to QA32 and post the goods to unrestricted contact ur quality persone regarding this

PLease try in your dev.server, In MIGO ,561 mvt type... When you enter thematerial and plant, stor location,There is an option for selecting the stock type..there u can give Quality...

If you want to transfer from unrestricted to quality you need to use 322.. If it asks for QM transactions

Go to OMJJ, give the movement type and in the left there is an option "deactivate for Quality.."

I think for that material already QM is active in material master.try to deactivate it and do mb1b 322 movement and transfer the stock to quality.
