Hi Gurus,

When I am trying to releasing a request or trying to import Iam getting error... tp ended with error code 0208. I am pasting error details here, Till yesterday it was fine suddenly it behave like this...Please advise me here...

Please check /usr/sap/trans filesystem/mount point is accessible in target system.

Hi RK

I face this issue before basically TP_domanin_sid.PFL  got corrupted due to which i was unable to do the transports. what i did was i went in to system overview >> highlight that system and  click update configuration icon. it distributed the configuration again. My problem is now resolved.

I was also facing the same issue.

Please check the transport directory permissions.

Might be transport directory hasn't proper permissions.

and also execute SM59 -> ABAP connections

check RFC connection TMSADM@<domain_controller>.

Cross check once again your TMS domain config & trans dir shaired or not..?

Hi,

For which TR release your getting the Erro, i mean to say for the sub task or main task.

Any wayz it seems there is a permission issues with the transport directory.Please check the permissions of Central buffer (transport directory), check whether SID<ADM> user have the proper permissions.

Check the following points:

Feasibility of the transport control program tp

Parameter settings in the transport profile

Write authorization for the subdirectories

Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames

Release the request again when the error has been removed

Hi,

This error will come when there will be access problem to the transport dirctory /usr/sap/trans.

Check the tms configuration has been done properly check for permission also.

Give more info like your o/s ,if the directory shared or not?

O S is WINDOWS 2003-R2, USR directory is shared, and alos I tested TMS configured properly, previously it was working fine, suddenly it throwing error... Please let me know if you need any more detials...

Iam suspecting problem with OS side, becz TMS configured properly and previously working fine, and also I have reconfigured again... may the problem with windows 2003-R2 server...

May be you can check the TP.exe and R3Trans.exe file version and update it then try once more.
