Hi all,
Does anyone know when the referenced task list fields (VPLTY, VPLNR and VPLAL) in table PLPO gets populated?
Regards,
M
Dear Mark
One option can be please check for general task list in IA05. You can assign this task list when you create the maintenece plan.

Dear Mark
There is no such option of reference task list creation in PM task list but you can copy a standard task list when creating a task list for a new equipment or so
1) Create a standard Task list
2) When creating a new task list you can copy with standard task list .
3) Any changes made in standard Task list will not reflect in any of the copied task list.

Hi Gajesh,
Thanks for the feedback. The problem with the method you mentioned is that there is no reference to the standard task list. This was the first option we explored.
Any ideas on a work around to get the reference task list details populated in PM? I could not find a user exit for task lists. We are on version 4.6C.

M
HI Mark
VPLTY Ref. task list type
VPLNR Referenced group
VPLAL Refer. group counter
VPLFL Referenced sequence
for this go to QP11->Create Reference operation set>enter group--->Enter operations
Now go to QP01>Enter inspection Type Header->click on operation--->go to Etras ->Reference>create Reference.
That means you are referencing the Operations/char (which you are commonly going to use)
in an inspection plan.
Go to table with group name of QP01..check aforsaid fields
VPLTY Ref. task list type-->will be S
VPLNR Referenced group--->will be name of group in QP11
VPLAL Refer. group counter-->will be name of group counter in QP11
VPLFL Referenced sequence-->00010 or 00000 like wise..

Hi guys,
Thanks for the responses.
I noticed that this functionality is for QM task lists. Is there a similar function for PM task lists?
This is what we would like to do:-
1. Create a standard task list.
2. When creating a new task list we would like to reference the task list created in 1 above.
3. If a change is made to the standard task list (1 above), we would like to know which task lists will be affected.
Can this be done?
Thanks,
M
Dear Mark,
In inspection operation you can link to one or more several reference operation set. for creating the same you have to go to Inspection plan> operation overview> Create Ref.
You can give the operation, standard text key, Group referred to(VPLNR) , group counter ref to(VPLAL),Ref TList type VPLTY (default S) will be taken.

Gajesh
