Dear Experts,

Business subcontracts raw materials of 20 series & inward material as new part number 30 series (semi finished good) with 101 movement type.

Two situations arise with the inward 30 series material.

1) Material (Semi finished) issue to production line.

2) Material (semi finished) selling directly to customer.

I would like to know the registers needs to be updated in both cases.

While in warding the material RG23 Part 1 needs to be updated?

While doing sales RG1 needs to be updated?

What is the material type for semi finished material in J1ID?

Please advise.

Thanks & regards,

Deepu Pillai

Thank you for your reply.

HALB is nt defined in J1ID.

As per lakshmipathy, it is clear that RG1 is the matl type in J1ID. So no needs to update RG23 register but for sales RG1 needs to be updated.

Please let me know how can i delete entries in RG23 A part1, these semifinshed goods are maintained as ROP. Hence these materials are updated in RG23 A. Table- J_1IPART1

Also some wrong entries in j_1IRG1, j_1IRGSUM, j_2IRG1BAL.

Advise me any standard settings / notes available to delete table entries.

Thanks & regards,

Please look in to my logic:

will mark the product as RG1 in j1id.

Once the goods comes back from subcontracting, receive the goods using 101 to Rg1 using ROP.

and when issuing to prd issue from rg1 using 261 and Classfication IIM.

and when used for sales, use 601 and calsication IDH or others.

This is correct,

pls comment
