Deletion of ODS Objects

Hello All,

I need to delete the ODS objects from DEv,Quality and Prod.

I deleted the ODS by right click delete and it asked for update rules and Query deletion.

I deleted all the update rules ,Query for the ODS and created a Request to transport to Quality.

But the transportation to Quality failed,saying the communication structure is still being used.

We found that only the ODS object is included in the transport and not the update rules and generate export datsource

But when we search the deletion log of the ODS ,all the update rules,generate export datasource,everything is deleted successfully from the DEV system but Request for the deletion is not peresent anywhere.

We have checked inlocal objects and these objects were not found.

Could anyone tell us what might be the issue?

Hi,

The reason for transport request failure in quality might be that the ODS is having data in quality.

Otherwise, I think it should have deleted the ODS structure.

Can you try to reimport the transport request again after confirming that data from ODS is deleted in quality?

We had deleted the data from Quality and then only we asked for the transport.
