Access to Foreign trade tabs in Material master

Hi,

We are using the Foreign trade tabs in Material master to store the HTS# in Commodity code / Import code number for foreign trade and Export control class according the legal reg. for legal ctrl for storing Export control class of the materials.

We want to restrict the users access so that very few people can get access to these two fields.

We tried the user exit route, there is no userexit available for checking Export control class according the legal reg. for legal ctrl.

Wondering whether anybody has dealt this issue in a different way or a suggestion is appreciated

If the user id is different, then your basis team would easily implement a control such that only specific user id can access the said views in material master.

We couldn't find a solution for ECN field.

May be our basis is not as good as they should be.

We appreciate more detail about the right authourization object for ECN number(export Control Classification Number) field in material master
