Hi,

Sap has provided 4 methods to calculate the absence valution. Each method has different functionality.

1. Counting class

2. Constant and average method

3. As if rule

4. Special Rule.

Wtih the second method we can see the wage types to absence types. In counting class method we will assign the couning class to absences. Acutally we will mapping procedure is

Note: Directly we could not assign the wage types to absences

Absence mapped with valuation rules(Paid, Unpaid)

Valuation rules mapped with wage types/Counting class.

In the table of V_T554c , in this table we can see the at time 4 methods. In constant/average method, click on the + , immedieate it will goes to edit mode, here we can enter the wage type for paid absence /841, for unpaid /846, if do you want customer wage type, you can create customer wage types to valuate the absences.

or else go to path :

Go to payroll > Absences> Valuation of Absences>Create Counting Classes for Absence Valuation

Hi Devi,

I also have the same issue.

I used a custom wagetype as you said in the V_T554c.

That is a deduction wagetype, the amount is coming in that wagetype in RT but the netpay is not affected. Please advise.

Any comments on this.
