Hierarchy update

Hi all

I have a profit center hierarchy which gets updated daily from R3. But how does this update work?

I did not define the hierarchy in the system myself and I think it looks like that only the data is updated and not the structure of the hierarchy. Do I have to maintain the structure manually in BW if it changes in R3?

Actually I think I didn't do that. I have to do this on the cube right? Could this fix the "problem"?
