SP implementation: long run of OCS_QUEUE_IMPORT job

Hi,

I'm implementing 'Cross-Application Component' Support Package - SAP_ABA level 49 for WAS 6.20. In phase Import 2 there is a job called OCS_QUEUE_IMPORT. This job runs for ages. It has HOLD status in SM50 transaction. System Log - SM21 transaction says:

No Active Link Found in the Link Table

> Conversation ID: 52551670

> CPI-C function: CMRCV

So I assume job is waiting for some RFC connection from outside to SAP. Could somebody share experience how to handle implementation of this SP?

I'm running on SAP CRM 4.0, WAS 6.20.

Hi Martin:

Did you take a look at the TP system Log in Tx STMS ?

Sometime there are locked files in the file system that the SAP system is unable to write to. Look a directory /usr/sap/trans/tmp for in-use temporary files.

Also, the /trans directory is located locally, with big SP's slow network would play a bad role here...
