We have maintained ERLA in the material master for kit part no and norm for thecomonent part no.
The item category in the sale order is TAQ for the main kit and tae for the component.
I am trying to create a delivery. Both my taq and tae are picked. Even though the stock not maintained for TAQ, it is selected in delivery processing and am getting an error message. I am struck and do not know to proceed further. please help

Reason for Substituation field in delivery plays a very important role in controling the material determination procodure in delivery and also in Sales order. This is a key field when you maintain a condtion record in VB11.
Standard Reason for Substituation are
0001 Advertising campaign
0002 Customer material
0003 Internat.Article No.
If outcome is not used then the system will not display both the materials.
Supose you have maintained 001 in the condtion record then check the settings WRT 0001 in OVRQ for the field OUTCOME.
