Hi
We have a WAS 6.40 J2EE SP 15. The user id which has been given to me is a member of the administrators group. The passowrd is still the initial password and I want to change it to a password of my choice. I do not have access to the visual administrator.
Is there a way to change my password through the browser itself.

Hi,
Go to the User Admin Page, URL format is as follows:
("http://<host>:<port>/useradmin ").
On the top left corner field <b>GET</b> enter the user i.e <b>j2ee_admin</b> in your case and click <b>GO</b>
Click on <b>Modify</b> under <b>Details</b>, select "Define Initial Password" and give the new password and SAVE. When you try logging into "useradmin" page again with this user it'll ask you to give the new password (initial pwd that you just created) that you have created and then will ask you to change this password. So this new password will be effective from now on for this user.
Best Regards,
Adarsh

Hi,
You can go to the browser. In the end add /useradmin("http://<host>:<port>/useradmin "). There you can change your password.
