MAX DB MCOD installation

Dear Experts,

I want to install twoo SAP SERVER in one hardware,Solution manager

and Ecc6.0 SR2.

OS: Windows 2003 SR2

Datase : MaxDB 7.6

Condition:

1. Solution Manager 7.0 is already installed in server3

SAP SID : SLM

DBSID: SLM

databasehost:earth

2.Installation of ECC 6.0 SR2 (D51033208) in the same Database SLM using MCOD must be done .

SAP SID : SD1

There are two option i am getting at installation (sapinst.exe) input phase .

1.Use Existing Instance

2.Recreate instance.

Whereas when i choose the first option the installation is trying tio

rename the Database instance SLM To SD1.

When selecting option 2.Recreate instance, the installation is trying touninstall SLM and reinstall SD1.

Where in both are not supposed to happen , Where comes the concept of

MCOD? How do i install two sapserver using one DBinstance(MaxDB)?

as you may already have learned from your support message, this is rather not an issue of MaxDB but of the installation tool.

Thus, this is the wrong forum for this question.
