Adding files to customer master

Hello,

we would like to add some files as attachment to the customer master with transaction XD02. We do this with the 'services for object' button. However when we want to add some files a popup with the message 'reading error PC-upload' appears. In the popup the following text appears 'Close the file in the PC-application' Try again?. We allready checked transaction SU53 and this has nothing to do with an autorization issue. What is going wrong or what settings do we have to change? Thanks in advance,

Hi

When you are trying to attach the file....it should be closed in your PC and guess you have kept it open and trying to attach the file. Close the file in your PC and try again.

Hi,

Open your Customer Master Data in Change mode. XD02 , click 'services for object' Click "Create" --> Create Attachment --> Browse and attach the document. You can assign Document for 3 areas a. General data, 2. Company Code data, 3, Sales Area data.

Its happening no error found.

This is exactly the way we add files to the customer master, however the message still appears.
