How Trex Works?

Hi Experts,

I want to know about trex functionality. How it searches the document. For example if i search for word

"SAP" and there are 10 results than how will it prioritize the documents? Which document will come at first locationa and which at last?

Hi,

TREX search based on the KM document indexing. Generally it searches based on the data relevance.

You can sort the result based on the date, author etc.....

You need to modify the search option set and seatch component set accordingly to your requirement.

thats not what Atul was asking for.

I think his answer was how trex "prioritize the documents".

I cannot find any hint in your answer and your links. Maybe there are but I couldn find them.

For me the priotorizing process is interesting too. But hopefully someone can give "useful" information.

Hi,

what do you mean by prioriizing the documents.

Documents are prioritized based on the Relevance by default. i.e, the keyword that you typed in the text box based on ascending or descending.

I am already intimated you that you can prioritze based on the Created, Created by, modified, modified by, Name, relevance, size etc.........

To achieve that you need to customize the Search option set and Search component set accordingly.
