Hello Experts,
I am not sure if I am correct about seeburger AS2 adapter.
It is a B2B scenario and I need to send a file to a vendor. As I have read I need to configure 2 adapters
Lets say we have
1. AS2 - receiver type
2. File - sender type
The flow will be:
File adapter --> AS2 -
> Destination party
or
AS2 ---> Destination party
File -
> Destination party
Questions-
1. Will this File adapter send the file through AS2 adapter?
2 . Sender agreement will be to a virtual receiver too...
How do you check

1. You will use the AS2 adapter only if the transmission protocol for sending the files will be AS2. Else you can use the normal file adapter
2. Virtual receivers are required only during party communication i.e B2B and also if in the B2B one of the business system in R3 else you dont need to use it.

Do the following:
1) Configure the File sender channel
2) Configure the AS2 receiver channel
3) Configure a Senderagreement with all elements filled (Sender party & service, Receiver party & service, interface & namespace) picking the file sender channel from 1)
4) Configure a Receiveragreement with all elements filled matching those from 3) picking the AS2 receiver channel
-> do a testrun !
1. Will this File adapter send the file through AS2 adapter?
No. If the client expects the message in AS2 format, then use AS2 channel separately. File adapter will be used to send the file to PI and AS2 channel will take file from PI to your partner.
2 . Sender agreement will be to a virtual receiver too...
Not required in your case.
Do I need to configure File adapter to use AS2 protocol?
There is no such option and it is not required also.

Check this blog for getting same filename from sender to receiver side../people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/10/xi-the-same-filename-from-a-sender-to-a-receiver-file-adapter--sp14
only change could be at receiver side u will be using AS2 adapter.
Thanks
