Hi,

Similar problem here. We save SAP attachments for purchase orders... in a Content Server. We have defined a workflow by mail and we need users to access Content Server files (pdf, jpg etc.) via Internet Explorer. We make use http calls like:

http://53.254.68.184:1092/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?get&pVersion=0046&contRep=Z4&docId=453B227...

We use MS IIS as web server for the content server. The mime types (.pdf "application/pdf"...) are correctly defined in the ISS.

The problem is that when we open the file of the Content Server from the Internet Explorer, the file (pdf...) is not opened automatically with the associated application (it doesn't understand file's extension). User's must save the file to disk and then open it.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem so that files read from Content Server are automatically opened in Internet Explorer?

Thank in advance and best regards,

Jon
